Everytime I clicked on the purple dot, after the sentence “click here for test results” (I think that’s what it said), I would have to do the test again. I have done it about 7 times. I don’t know if I’m supposed to click on the purple circle or the sentence with the white lettering because if I click on the sentence, it puts me through to Vata-Satva and Vata-Tamas (forgive me if I misspelled). So I am not sure which result is accurate.
Thank you for the test. Although I was intially confused regarding the result, I found mine after clicking in the sentence, not the purple dot. Some advice for future test takers: write down your result after clicking the sentence, and then look it up in the descriptions that follow. I hope this helps, and it is worth doing!
I just signed up to be a member although i cannot seem to log in, it keeps going back to the log in page when ever i try to access the free element test. thanks

Thinking about The Ayurveda Element Test,i’d like to add that when we go to see a doctor and tell the doc about our symptoms, the doc mostly guesses the ailment being suffered whereas an Ayurvedic Element test evidently shows what a person or an animal is suffering from. The difference is in taking a guess and prescribing chemicals to be taken in the living organism and seeing evidently the condition of the body telling one what the ailment is,therefore learning to listen to the language the body speaks and thus healing the body.
I found the test very simple to use. However, after taking the quiz I was unsure of what to do next. My thoughts are that this journey that I about to go on is going to be life changing. Peace to everyone and have a glorious adventure.
The test is not gods word but a guide line to what issues may be pending in a person’s life. It is a guide line to some insight into your self and why you may have certain well being problems coming from the mind into the body. Please use it to know more about your self at this moment in time and know that if you don’t like what you hear it may be that you need to make some lifestyle health changes.

Doshas are ever changing as our thoughts and actions change each moment. This is like a ripple in the sea, constant but not uncomfortable. But for them to move in excessive ways or to become predominant, our actions, habits and lifestyle will have to have become extreme in some way.

What I truely love about Ayurveda is that it promotes health rather than just treat disease and it really helped me to understand myself a lot better.
I did too felt worse after I took the test, but I guess that really depends on how we take it and take a look at it! Maybe there is some truth to the test, but everyone can change what it says. I have done yoga before and I felt a lot better. But it also help me change the way I look at life and to deal with things. I guess really it just depends on how the person looks at life. A negative way, positive or both! But the test was just a small part of who I am. I’m not going to take that test and make it my life.
Just look at it this way, I’m trying to keep it a positive thing. Keep working out and doing yoga. Things will get the way it was for me before. Body wise. :).
Plus I used to be such a person who thought negatively about things, then about two years ago, I began to do yoga and it was a helping in my positive out look on life, plus I felt fabulous
Thanks so much for this. I am very new to Ayurveda practices and yoga and I’m sure your blog will help me along the way.
I’m currently a Vata Satva. I was so shocked as a read it at how fitting it was to myself.
When I was around 5 I suffered from Kidney disease. I quite often get very dry skin, hair and nails. I got arthritis in my knees, and have had arthritic changes occuring in my ankles and toes from when I was a teenager. My report cards through Grade 7,8 and 9 of School said I was easily distracted and while that doesn’t affect my grades it does distract others who needed to be paying attention. Haha.
But more recently (in the past 5 years) I have suffered from insomnia, social anxiety and bipolar (more depressive than manic) which come and go in intensity. I spent the past year taking medication for it and have since been off my medication for a month and a half. Which is why I decide to look into Ayurveda.
I have felt calmer and more balanced in the past 3 weeks then I have in a very long time. This test will help me fix up the parts of my lifestyle that need looking into.
My main problem is that I’m allergic to dairy (different from lactose intolerance). Does anyone think rice milk is a good enough alternative (I’m allergic to soy too - go figure)? Goat’s milk is easier on me than cow’s milk but still not great.
I would like to participate in the Doshic evaluation. When I went to create a login the page timed out. Probably load balancing issues with the recent Ellen press. Now I am unable to create an account since my user name and email address appear to have been registered yet I never got to a page for setting a password. I also can not locate a link to reset, send or seek a password. Just a few design limitations here, as I also don’t see a proper avenue to post this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I just filled out in information needed to become a member and when I go to sign in it say’s to register. Do I wait to receive an e-mail to set up a password?

I haven’t done too much perusing of Cameron’s Blog just yet but I did get sent a link to http://www.rajasthanvisit.com/ayurveda-food.htm.
Is the information reputable?
