Yoga logic - We are in down times, what do we do?

I was just speaking to a friend who lost a lot of money in this crashed market. She asked me about another friend of ours and I told her that he is not doing well either as he is in a financial situation and has a child that needs his support. Then another friend of mine came to mind whom I will be visiting today who has just gone through a major surgery and is in a bit of a state also. Is this how it is for everyone? Well at some point it is.

In each of the cases I know there is a common thread as I know all three of them. It is a case of leaving things to the last moment and then crashing hard. One is an amazing writer who is having a hard time shifting from corporate to independent but knowing which is her passion, the other is an amazing actor/martial artist trying to juggle parenthood with personal conflicts but focusing on all negative thoughts of the passed and the other a very talented artist who has not put any attention on her health and well being and is now suffering for it. These are talented people who should never have any difficulty doing what they love and being paid for it. The first two are fearful to release their real talent in case it fails and the other is insecure of if her success will last.

The market has taught us time after time that we will lose something at sometime so the only way to be successful is to do what we really love doing, then at least when we make less money we are still fulfilled through the passion for our work. These ‘hard times’ become more exaggerated in times like these because as we live on a very sense orientated physical level, when our finances are under threat we allow that heavy energy to set in and control our thoughts. It is amazing how at times we feel free of this pull but most off our adult existence is focuses and controlled by this energy.

To shift out of this limitation we will have to change our focus from finance to our true purpose which is to help others in their difficult times. Shifting the attention from us onto others brings an awareness that we are not alone and that this moment will pass, so we should observe the bigger picture called life.

For people who have money investments in Icelandic banks - aahaa - it’s a bad situation as well. The Icelandic Banks went bankrupt overnight.Following that, people could not attend their jobs the next day because there was no money and they could not be paid. And since all the banks in the world market are connected, the damage began spreading in the world financial system.Several banks in the world got affected due to this.I call this an energy shift (on the spiritual level).Because material money is just a form of energy in the material form.So it is energy that materializes.Okay, - that’s just one aspect of it,but on the material plane,we have a system which we make function. And the way the banks and investors and the financial market functions nowadays with such high rising prices constantly, and then not being able to pay back loans, obviously somewhere or the other there will be a crash in the system. To that all the constantly changing world history affairs adding all the time to the financial market situation.

A few hours ago I returned home from the beach where I went to catch the sun!I have found myself getting addicted to the sun and I have been running to catch the sun. This doesn’t make any sense,it is just so funny because I am running to catch the sun.I have to catch the sun.I rushed like a fury from the gym,not having any time to shower,i couldn’t care less in that moment - my bag heavy and me running to get tram and sun.I was so lucky to see a magnificient orange, red, golden ball of fire low on the horizon. It’s electrifying me even now.The sun rises by the seconds and the sun sets by the seconds of time. And once again it becomes very vivid how valuable every second is.On my way back home my thoughts were, ” If I were a painter,I would be observing this scenery very often. How would I be thinking and living then? ” BTW,I don’t paint. It’s not my passion.I love good paintings though. What the sun gave me today was this feeling deep, deep down inside me,inside my bone marrow, and pierced my energy fields - it is not the picture or the memory through which the sun is going to work for me.It is through myself. The sun will work through me!And this is an energy which will give life it’s direction.

Fear is an imbalance of the solar plexus. The sun is the symbol of the solar plexus.Besides, that is where we all carry our personal sun and our energy.Meditating on the sun,THE SUN fills us with it’s fire,it’s energy,in the amount our own energy field can handle.
This gives us the energy to live our life through our hearts. It will give you the energy to take whatever steps you have to take. You don’t have to think hard - you will just have the right energy for everything.

Doing that what we trully love is our purpose in life.Because only then can we shine and spread our rays to all.If you’re unhappy and unfulfilled, you will spread and radiate just that.If you are glowing happiness from your heart - what will everyone see and feel? Will people see you as happy too and will they feel you as happy too? Will it be a happy moment for them when you are next to them?

Yogi Cameron - i’m in love with the sun.I’m always in love with something or the other. It should also always be the right thing. But i can’t smooch the sun!Any ideas there?
And i do hope i have given precious insight here.

Definitelly I will read everything around here and on your other site. Please write more!

Later edit: *”I found out about…”, *depth”.

Sorry, I’d been taken away by the excitement. :)
And since I am writing here, I want to ask you to write a post about the yogic and ayurvedic view upon the cure of depression, since it is a universal, modern problem. I mean people could use the real, seriously taken look, because they are fed up with the same old babling about the power of will and gathering oneself. As far as you know from what you learned, are the antidepressant pills working basically on the same principle as Viagra, as you wrote about it in an older post? Thank you very much.
