Indian Diaries day 6

Today In studying the body and the manner in which it works - that is in accordance with the universal spiritual law of karma and with the physical laws of nature, we come to understand that everything, including the body needs a certain amount of nourishment as well as cleansing and this amount is particulate to each individual.

For a motor to work properly we understand that it needs to be maintained, cleaned and cared for so it runs and works with efficiency and  accuracy and this is true of our body. While in discussion with the Dr (while he took a phone call as he did many times or a patient would just wonder into the room and we would break a moment from conversing) I thought about how so many people are taking vitamin pills or eating and drinking what are considered beneficial nutrition but with the mentality that more is better.

My local hang out - India

More water, more fruit, more vegetables, more vitamins, more sleep, more fun etc. Then this morning while I took some very powerful medicines for preventative measures (maintaining the body’s health) it stuck me that I must stick to the correct dosage and not think if I take more it will have double the effect. It is exactly the opposite. If I took more of this ‘good thing’ it would have the opposite effect of poisoning and creating toxins in the body.

This is so true of how we are brought up in our western culture of more is better. Be careful and vigilant from today and see where in your life you may be over doing things with food, talking, working, pleasures, sex, thinking etc. Aim for balance and equilibrium not for what you think is the right thing, as the way most people are living with excess and desires, it is not going to be a natural feeling of what is the correct choice to make. Seek out spiritually minded people to help you on your path and then start the doing and leave the talking behind.

Cameron, most probably all those interruptions whilst you were conversing with the doctor were meant to be so because they gave your thoughts time to bring to your mind some very important things.

Less is more.I too have to take strong preventative medication daily, but i have to stick to the dosis as prescribed. How can we be over-taking supplements and the likes. It poisons our system. But yeah,i have gone through these things myslef.I have gone through suicide attempts and such but look at me now!I am strong and beautiful!Because i am healthy!Because of myself and the light within me and because of you Yogi Cameron ~ because of your guidance,i follow your advice here sincerely Cameron and i am becoming light, pure and healthier day by day.How can i not express my love for you?And i thank you Cameron. You are a great person.
~Cameron,if you remember what you said about your father’s motto for his lifestyle, atleast for the way it was in the past,(things always change in the moment and then in the future),then you will take care yourself about the dosage of the medication you have to take. It’s your body and your mind and your karma.

Eating seasonal food and following the ayurvedic and yogic way and habits of eating should be medication and healing enough!!
The only supplement i take is Omaga3 which has proved to be very beneficial to my system. And then i leave a break for sometime and then i start taking it again.

Ah - by the way,i actually have detested taking supplements in the form of tablets, capsules, etc. Therefore i always looked up information on which foodstuff contains which vitamins, minerals and what it was good for or what it cured and then i ate those foddstuffs to help myself. And very effective indeed!I’m proud of myself there!Just a wee tiny example is the herb parsely - eating a few twigs of fresh parsely, with your food, cures bad breath and thyme for example is good for sore throat, and it is very effective and garlic and ginger have anti-bacterial properties.

Sesame seeds and oil are very rich in magnesium which takes away muscle cramps.Good for those doing sports!Bananas are another source of high magnesium content.Strawberries are very high sourse of vitamin C and folic acid. And blah, blah, blah, blah…. :) i love your blog cameron.

By the way, your hang out place there ~ hey i love the tree in the background :) - look up there and you will see me there dangling my paws :).It also reminds me in a way of a place i often went to eat,a little on the outskirts of Hessen - so 50 kms from Frankfurt, back in Germany. So very similar with a few differences!

    quoting you:
”Be careful and vigilant from today and see where in your life you may be over doing things with food, talking, working, pleasures, sex, thinking etc. Aim for balance and equilibrium not for what you think is the right thing,….”

Thank you Yogi Cameron for this precious lesson, advice, guidance. And you too take care Cameron ~ practice what you preach.okay? :) hugs, xoxo

    Quoting you:
“Seek out spiritually minded people to help you on your path and then start the doing and leave the talking behind.”
I agree with you Cameron but to achieve this, there must be an awareness that the path we follow is not the right one. Once our conscience is opened and prepared to changes, if spiritually minded people are on our path, it really means something that we have to take in consideration. The haphazard doesn’t exist. There is always a reason why we meet certain people in our life. But we must be ready to make the necessary changes in our life by observing a certain amount of “rules”, which is not easy I confess. But the well-being which results is so obvious that there is no way to step back and return to our old habits.
The point is not to know if it would be better to live here or somewhere else, if having 30m2 very well used is better than having an empty space of 100 m2 but rather to find a good balance in each thing we have and not to attempt to accumulate things over the years just to reassure us that the accumulation of material goods (or anything else) is the proof of a successful life. It is first necessary to begin by appreciating what we have. Therefore, we avoid any feeling of frustration. That is already the first step towards wisdom.

Excellent week-end and thank you for all your good advices.
