Day 7 - 10 days of change to improve your life.

Observation. The day will be spent devoid of any judgments, expectations or comments. It is going to be a day of observation of outer actions, people and activities without having any opinion or making any comments. We will keep everything to ourselves and just watch the world go by without feeling we should be involved in anyway except with the things we are doing personally.

Just observing makes us removed from the center of actions and moves us to the sideline where we have a better view of what is actually happening. Being in the center (involved) brings on emotions where we cannot see clearly. Detaching and observing allows us the time to see things much more fluidly without the prejudices of the ego thinking we know what is best.

Not making any comments also helps us at the end of the day to realize that many of the things we would normally have verbalized were not necessary and better ideas and thoughts come floating up to the surface of our mind once our mouth and mind are under control.

Use the world around you as your TV for the day.

Hi. Observation is something I naturally do most of the time. It required no particular effort for me to stick to this task. Being exposed in front of an audience most of the time, for professional reasons, I’m not particularly seeking recognition outside of work. I agree on the fact that not getting involved and holding back all judgements and opinions brings some rest and peace of mind.
